2 habits to improve your sleep, productivity, and reduce stress

Have you ever wondered how small changes in your daily routine could help you sleep better, work more efficiently, and feel less stressed? When you want to feel good, aspects like getting adequate sleep, managing stress, and maintaining healthy habits are very important. But today, I want to talk to you about 2 very effective habits that can help you in all these mentioned aspects.

HABIT 1 - Mark your day

Imagine starting your day with techniques that help you sleep better, make healthier decisions, and be more productive. I'm talking about having the habit of "marking" the day. What do I mean by this?

I invite you to start each morning with activities that give you energy, joy, and happiness, and help you achieve your goals. For example, I use techniques such as:

1/ meditating for 10-15 minutes,
2/ learning a new skill,
3/ reading an inspiring book

4/ or exercising, like walking for 10 minutes in the morning and getting natural sunlight.

These are just a few examples of my personal habits that I use every morning to start the day with joy and lots of energy.

Many of us, the first thing we do after waking up is grab our phone and check social media. You know what I mean, right? Well, this is a big mistake and not the best way to start the day. So, I recommend avoiding looking at your phone immediately after waking up to protect your energy levels and your circadian rhythm.

HABIT 2 - Set clear boundaries

This is a habit that took me a long time to learn, and we often see many couples arguing over work issues because they don't know how to set clear boundaries between work and personal time. You've probably heard this phrase before: "many people bring work home...". And this is a serious mistake that we cannot overlook. You have to know how to create a clear boundary between work and personal life. At work, focus on what you have to do; in your free time, alone or with your partner, focus on disconnecting and connecting with the people around you. Personally, to calm my mind, I use techniques such as meditation, walking, reading a book, having a pleasant conversation with my partner, cooking, writing in a journal, or stretching. This provides me with more mental clarity and makes me feel much better emotionally.

I share my techniques with you so you can put them into practice. You don't have to believe me, try it for yourself.

The benefits of these 2 habits are many. You will improve at work, have stronger relationships, and feel better overall. So why wait? Start slowly, make a commitment to do these things every day, and you'll see how everything changes for the better. In just two weeks, you'll notice that you're more focused, sleeping better, and feeling happier overall.

Remember, it's okay to change your routines if necessary. The important thing is to find what works best for you. Take this opportunity to take care of yourself and see how small habits can change your life. You deserve it!

Big hug, your coach Luis.
