Ever thought about how the food we eat affects our mood? Well, it does, a lot! As a coach, I've seen firsthand how what we eat affects not just our bodies, but also our thinking and how we feel.
Think about this: even though we have lots of food available, we're eating more and more junk. That's food loaded with stuff like chemicals, preservatives, and sugar. And then we wonder, why does it matter? Let me share some wisdom from Sadhguru, a health expert, to explain why.
Imagine food as fuel for our bodies. Just like we pick good fuel for our cars, we should choose good food for our bodies. But often, we don't. We eat processed foods packed with chemicals that mess with our thinking and make us sick. Sadhguru says, "The food you eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of medicine, or the slowest form of poison."
Our bodies work best with natural, healthy foods. When we eat junk, it messes up our body's balance and makes it hard for our brains to work right.
So, what can we do about it? Sadhguru gives some tips:
1/ Pay attention to what you eat.2/ See each meal as a chance to make your body and mind happy.
3/ Don't mix foods that don't go together.
4/ Eat foods that are good for you, like natural ones that make your body and mind strong.
When you follow these tips, you'll clean up your body and feel more balanced and energetic. So, taking care of your mental health starts with what's on your plate.
I hope this inspires you to think more about what you eat and helps you take charge of your health in a good way.
A big hug, your coach Luis
